📜 Returns & Refunds Policy (UK)
Thank you for shopping with Brit in a Pickle. As all our products are made to order , our returns policy reflects UK consumer law for bespoke items.
🔒 Made-to-Order & Customised Items
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, customers do not have an automatic right to cancel or return goods that are:
- Made to the consumer’s specifications, or
- Clearly personalised
As such, we do not accept returns or offer refunds for made-to-order items unless they are:
- Faulty
- Not as described
- Not fit for purpose
This policy applies regardless of whether the item was purchased online, in-store, or via any other distance selling method.
⚠️ Faulty or Incorrect Items
If your item arrives damaged, defective, or materially different from what was described:
- You must notify us within 14 days of receipt.
- We may request photographic evidence of the issue.
- If the item is confirmed to be faulty or incorrect, we will offer a repair, replacement, or full refund, including any standard delivery costs.
📦 Return Process for Faulty Items
- Contact us at michael@britinapickle.com with your order number and issue description.
- If approved, we will provide return instructions.
- Items must be returned in their original condition and packaging. (Buyer responsible for shipping costs)
🚫 Non-Returnable Items
We do not accept returns or offer refunds for:
- Items returned due to change of mind, incorrect size, or colour preference
- Items damaged through misuse or unauthorised repair attempts
- Items returned outside the 14-day notification window for faults
📌 Your Statutory Rights
This policy does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. You are entitled to goods that are:
- Of satisfactory quality
- As described
- Fit for purpose
