📜 Returns & Refunds Policy (UK)

Thank you for shopping with Brit in a Pickle. As all our products are made to order , our returns policy reflects UK consumer law for bespoke items.

🔒 Made-to-Order & Customised Items

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, customers do not have an automatic right to cancel or return goods that are:

  • Made to the consumer’s specifications, or
  • Clearly personalised

As such, we do not accept returns or offer refunds for made-to-order items unless they are:

  1. Faulty
  2. Not as described
  3. Not fit for purpose

 

This policy applies regardless of whether the item was purchased online, in-store, or via any other distance selling method.

⚠️ Faulty or Incorrect Items

If your item arrives damaged, defective, or materially different from what was described:

  • You must notify us within 14 days of receipt.
  • We may request photographic evidence of the issue.
  • If the item is confirmed to be faulty or incorrect, we will offer a repair, replacement, or full refund, including any standard delivery costs.

📦 Return Process for Faulty Items

  1. Contact us at michael@britinapickle.com with your order number and issue description.
  2. If approved, we will provide return instructions.
  3. Items must be returned in their original condition and packaging. (Buyer responsible for shipping costs)

 

🚫 Non-Returnable Items

We do not accept returns or offer refunds for:

  • Items returned due to change of mind, incorrect size, or colour preference
  • Items damaged through misuse or unauthorised repair attempts
  • Items returned outside the 14-day notification window for faults

 

 

📌 Your Statutory Rights

This policy does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. You are entitled to goods that are:

  • Of satisfactory quality
  • As described
  • Fit for purpose
